Never There, Never Then

We aren't there. Never have been. It's not then, it never will be, We don't have that. There, then, and that only exist in our stories. Whether that story is one which we label "past", one which we label "future", or the one which we see as being the present but happening outside of ourselves. That isn't to say that these stories are false or somehow unimportant or irrelevant or anything, I'm merely pointing out that "there", "then", and "that" are never applied to us where we are. So if you are waiting until you get "there", or thinking about after "'then" when everything will be different, or maybe dreaming about when you'll finally have "that"; and you feel like you will never able to be happy until you're there, it's then, and/or you have that.... Well, you may find life is nothing but bitter disappointment in that case.
